A little background about myself:
I had a wonderful childhood in a single parent family of
ten children. My formal education extended to a college graduation
at then Memphis State University in 1973 in Business Administration. I've been
professionally trained in sales and sales management since the age of 13
selling newspapers. I've worked for two Fortune 100 companies and
one Fortune 500 company in numerous managerial capacities. My belief
is that those trained talents were more valuable in a smaller company
(Sales $200M) with growth aspirations. Today, I'm able to apply
vision and knowledge to The Candle Group as well as other
organizations in which interaction is made.

| A little background about myself: I’m the second oldest of seven children. I grew up in a Memphis area project. My parents challenged me and my brothers and sisters to go after the opportunities that they never had. I received my education at Carnes Elementary and Manassas High School in Memphis, TN. My formal training was completed at Memphis State University and Travecca Nazerine College (Nashville, TN). I’ve worked for the Memphis City School System for 22 years (seven as an administrator). Having the responsibility of shaping the lives of 865 children helps to keep me grounded in the fact that they will need critical preparation to take advantage of ever expanding opportunities. Knowledge is the fermentation for achievement and power. | |
